Our mini product tester Clara received Djeco’s Glitter Boards Mermaid Lights for her birthday and was very excited to get started! The craft kit comes in a beautifully packaged box with an easy to follow picture instruction book, instructing which colour glitter goes where for each of the four beautiful pictures.
The kit involves peeling back the coverings from each numbered area using the special stick and then sprinkling the correct colour onto the sticky surface and finally using the brush to ensure an even coverage. Once I had gone through what she had to do with Clara, she was able to do the craft herself with minimal help and really enjoyed creating such gorgeous pictures. It is a brilliant kit for older kids and a lovely quiet time activity that encourages concentration and manual dexterity to create a fab result. Clara was very pleased with her efforts and put them up in her room for all to see - she now wants to tackle another one but can’t decide which of the stunning craft kits to try!
