Toys for 4 – 5 year olds

Toys for 4 – 5 year olds

Aug 8, 2022

Children start to play with their pretend play toys for longer now and are eager to try new things and invent new games and imaginative scenarios.  Our range of pretend play toys are superb for this age group and don’t just assume what toys they will like as at this age they embrace new ideas.  Now is the time to introduce new themes – what about space toys, horse and pony toys, dragons and knights or story telling toys?  But also the age old favourite dinosaurs, fairies and pirates are still a firm favourite – decade after decade! Try our Inspire Me section and filter by toy theme if you need gift inspiration.

If your child is starting to show a creative side, then we highly recommend the range of art sets for 3 – 6 year olds from Djeco.  Especially designed for this age group the colours and illustrations are appealing and they aren’t overly complicated (you don’t want bored children) yet the finished results are really eye catching and look brilliant displayed proudly on a wall!
